The lawyers of the Information and Communication Technologies (IT) practice group act for buyers and suppliers of IT products and services. The team specializes in:

Drafting and/or negotiating and advising on IT contracts:
- Agreements for Application Service Provision/Software as a Service (ASP/SaaS);
- Escrow (source code deposit) Agreements and other agreements relating to the safeguarding of business continuity;
- Licence Agreements for software, databases, content and webshops;
- Contracts relating to e-commerce, webhosting, internet access and services of Internet Service Providers
- Services Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance contracts;
- Value Added Reseller Contracts, Distribution Agreements and Partnerships;
- Secrecy agreements / Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Agreements for Management and Managed IT Services;
- Agreements concerning outsourcing and (international) offshoring;
- FENIT Conditions and ICT Office Conditions (standard general conditions drafted by the IT branch organization in the Netherlands), BIZA contract models (drafted by the Dutch Government);
- Open Source Software Licences;
Advising on the protection of know-how and intellectual property, such as trademarks, copyright and database rights on software, databanks and content;
Assisting in the resolution of disputes on liability in IT projects by means of negotiations, mediation, litigation before the court and the arbitration institutes, the Foundation for the Settlement of Automation Disputes in the Netherlands and the Netherlands Arbitration Institute;
Advising on the Personal Data Protection Act (privacy law) in relation to the development and implementation of information systems.
